Terms & Conditions

The following conditions as set out below form the basis of any contract between you and Prestige Golf Vacations Scotland (The Operator). At the time of asking for your holiday booking to be confirmed, you should sign a booking form accepting these Conditions. If not we consider you to have accepted our Conditions once you have paid us a deposit and we have issued you with confirmation of receipt of payment. Your contract is made on the terms of these Terms & Conditions and is subject to Scots Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.

Our Privacy Policy:

Prestige Golf Vacations Scotland takes our privacy policy very seriously in order to protect our customers. We shall not under any circumstances share or pass on any of your personal information with any third party whatsoever. Neither shall we store any financial information that you supply to us. We believe that this is key in building a lasting relationship with you our customer.

Deposit and Payment:

All prices quoted are in pounds Sterling (GBP). To complete a reservation, 30% of the total price is required to be paid and must be received by Prestige Golf Vacations Scotland within 14 days of confirmation. Personal or company cheque, bankers draft and electronic transfer payments are accepted. All reservations for which the deposit is not received within 14 days are automatically cancelled. The balance of the total cost is payable 12 weeks prior to departure where applicable.

Cancellation Policy:

If any trip is cancelled by Prestige Golf Vacations Scotland (the Operator) all deposits and payments will be refunded in full. A deposit equal to 30% of the package cost is required to confirm your reservation and this deposit is non-refundable. After acceptance of the booking if the customer does not pay the balance of the total price by the described time the Operator reserves the right to cancel the booking and the customer will forfeit the deposit. You may cancel your booking but the instructions will only be valid if in writing and signed by the person who signed the Booking Form. Your written instructions must go to Prestige Golf Vacations Scotland. To compensate us for the expense of processing your booking we may charge a cancellation fee. No refund will be made for unused portions of a travel package due to flight delays, scheduled changes or for any other reason. Cancellation Charges Prior to Travel Date: 60 days+: loss of deposit, 28-59 days: 50% of total cost, 14-27 days : 80% of total cost, 13 days or less : total cost

Course Conditions:

The Operator cannot be held responsible for the playing conditions of the golf courses whether caused by course maintenance, climatic conditions etc. We do request all maintenance
schedules from our featured courses and when we are advised we pass this information onto
you. Please remember maintenance schedules are subject to change due to weather
conditions. Golf course closure due to adverse weather is at the discretion of the golf course and green fees may not always be refunded in this case. Golf travel insurance is recommended.

Handicap Certificates

Increasingly courses are introducing and policing handicap limits. In some circumstances
certificates must be produced prior to play. We strongly recommend you take a Certificate with
you regardless as clubs can change their rules.

Change/Cancellation Fee:

£30 GBP per person administration fee will be charged for any change of the reservation that is requested after the original booking is confirmed and processed.

Travel Insurance:

Travel insurance is strongly recommended by The Operator. Please ensure that you have full travel, medical, luggage and cancellation insurance cover. Prestige Golf Vacations Scotland is not liable for loss, damage of theft of luggage or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accidents or illness. It is important that you make certain you have adequate cover.

NOT included in the prices:

Caddies, golf equipment hire, golf carts, trolleys, meals and drinks not specified, items of a personal nature, fuel, or any item not specified in the tour itinerary.

Car Rental Information:

On delivery of your hire car you will be asked to leave a cash deposit or major credit card.

Documentation:

For U.S. or Canadian citizens, the requirement is a current passport. Citizens of other countries should check with the appropriate Embassy.

Responsibility:

Prestige Golf Vacations Scotland referred to as the Operator and/or its agents acts only in the capacity of agent for the passengers in all matters relating to travel whether by plane, car, motor coach or any other means of conveyance. It shall not be liable for any injury damage or loss resulting from the neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers or of any hotel proprietor or other person supplying services or materials. Furthermore, Prestige Golf Vacations Scotland is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage caused by: Any Force Majeure, health issues, acts of God, acts of government or other entity, wars, or threat of war, industrial dispute, disaster, terrorism, riot or civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, inclement weather or any other circumstance beyond its control. The Operator reserves the right to withdraw or cancel any described program, refuse or retain any person as a member of the travel group at any time to make changes in the printed itinerary whenever, in its sole judgment, conditions warrant or if it deems it necessary for the convenience or safety of the passengers. All prices are based on tariff and rates of exchange in effect on the date of publication, or as stated above and are subject to change. Unless services are unused by prior arrangement no refund can be made. Prestige Golf Vacations Scotland is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, for personal injury, accident or illness on any vehicle or at any place throughout the tour. Our liability in all cases shall be limited to a maximum of the cost of your travel arrangements.

Any complaints must be made in writing to Prestige Golf Vacations Scotland within 28 days of the tour completion date.
